Jenna Mckell (Beck-B., 2022) bx11-25 (Spacecoast Sea Shells x Unknown)
6", 36",M, Sev, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching
White cream with a red raspberry appliqué eye and edge, green to white cream coming out from throat center.
Named after one of my granddaughters. With eyes as big as life here comes Jenna Mckell. A daylily with an eye zone you can't forget. Firtile and has made a seedling with the most big saturated red eye I have seen.
Jenny Jen (Beck-B 2021) bx12-5 (Cimarron Rose x Bold Paint)
6", 26", M, Sev, Tet, 22 buds, 4 way branched
Red burgundy red with lighter edge. Green throat. Named for my daughter Jenny. She comes out and sees all of my flowers each year and this is the one she goes to. Very excellent red color and good grower. Will melt in the sun so best to grow in afternoon shade.
Just What I Needed
(Beck-B., 2023) 15-29 (Sherry Candy x Blue Breasted Bee Eater)
6", 26", M, Sev, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching
Coppery cream base color with a big eye and edge of violet and purple tones, nice big ruffles and small outside edge of metallic glitter, green throat
On maiden bloom I knew this was a keeper. The eye and the very wide edge color is very noticeable from a distance. Makes it looks even bigger than it is. One time it bloomed with a patterned eye. Don't expect the pattern but may help get pattern eyes with giant edges when using it.
Kristy Jane (Beck-b., 2021) bx12-36 (bx08-4 x unknown)
5.25", 35", M, Sev, Tet, 18 buds, 3-4 way branching
Very clean white base with three shades of violet blue eye zone with a raspberry mascara. Edged in the eye colors. Named after my middle child Kristy. This is the best white base for a blueish eye that I have. Not always the light blue that you you see in the first picture. Sometimes more navy blue as in the second pic.
Lacey Jane (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-47 (Precious Candy x Unknown)
6.25", 31", M, Sev, Tet, Re, 22 buds, 4-5 way branching
Dark mauve base with purple lavender eye and edge, outer petals edged in white to gold, green throat bursting out green to yellow into the eye zone. Named after one of my granddaughters. A show in the garden? Let Lacey Jane be a part of the act. Precious Candy has been a wonderful parent for me and just keeps putting out greatness. Reblooms here.
Laser Face
Laser Face (Beck-B., 2022) bx17-20 (bx08-18 x Professor Eyes-N-Biter)
6", 30", Sev, Tet, ML, Tet, 18 buds, 3-4 way
Tan mauve base with a patterned eye zone of purple and raspberry, green yellow throat, raspberry purple edge.
This is probably the most unique daylily that I have grown. I was actually going for eye and edge with teeth. (you can see bxo8-18 in the gallery section on this web site) I texted a picture of this one to a friend and she said. "looks like the whole face of the flower is done by a laser." That's how it got it's name. The base color can be tan or lavender or a combination of both. This year (2021) it was more tan but the outside edge was way wider. Fertile both ways and I used it a lot.
Named after my Mom. This is one of the biggest full formed round purple Daylilies I have seen. It is A very strong grower. Has a slight lighter water mark in the eye area. Has a nice white edge around the petals. Very nice green throat. Just one of the best I have grown! Now for the bad. It does hang up here 20% of the time. If it were not for this flaw I would be selling it for much more. I seldom have warm nights even when it's 90 + degrees during the day. Usually in the 50's at night. So it may open much better with warm nights. Would love to know if it does better with warm nights.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx15-31 (Thistles and Thorns x Veto)
7", 28", M, Sev, Tet, 11 buds, 3 way branching
Purple base with a brighter lighter purple eye, edged in eye zone color and gold teeth, green throat
What a fantastic flower. The flower is just too good not to share. Although not really enough buds to make it a real winner. I contemplated whether or not to put it out, because of the low bud count. With that in mind, I decided to sell it for less and let you decide if it was good enough.
Leon Lewis (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-40 ( Velvet Throne x Thistles and Thorns)
6.25", 36", M, Sev, Tet, Re, 35 buds, 5-6 way branching
Ruffled purple with a light water mark eye, green throat. Just another purple? If I thought that I would not keep it. It is a workhorse purple. If you have seen Velvet Throne you know about velvet purple in daylilies. This one has that velvet color but improves on the plant with wonderful scapes, many buds, and great branching. It even has the power to re bloom here. Named for a good friend of mine in Wendell Idaho. A retired Fish and Game agent that loves Daylilies!
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx15-8 (Thistles and Thorns x Veto)
6", 31", EM, Sev, Tet, 18 buds, 4 way branching
Deep purple base with white and gold teeth on petals, green throat
Another wonderful flower from this cross! I did not know what one to chose so I have quite a few named in 2023 from this cross. All have something a little different.
(Beck-B., 2025) Bx17-9 (Oh Erica x Simply Leaves Me Breathless)
6", 34", ML, Sev., Tet, 16 buds, 3 way
Cream with a huge raspberry red eye and edge, small green throat blending outward with orange tones.
In the beginning one of my obsessions with daylilies was the eye and picotee edged ones. When I first bloomed Oh Erica, It was one of my first really big moments. I knew I had something special. I can't remember how long after that, I obtained Simply Leaves Me Breathless. Simply Leaves Me Breathless was my favorite purple eye and edge for quite some time. I knew these two would make something great. Lots of crossing between them. I had so many wonderfully beautiful seedlings. But they all looked like Simply Leaves Me Breathless. One day I was looking through all of the purple and cream I saw something different. There it was bright red! It was a standout. I later realized it was more of a raspberry red. Lighted Stage is a wonderful grower and has a great plant under it.
Limon Rasperry (Beck-B., 2020) Bx111-24 (Bella Isabella x unknown) 28",E Mid season,6", ,Sev,Tet, 14 buds, 4 branches
Lavender pink faun base color with purple raspberry applique eye. Yellow green throat hence the Limon. Every time I see this flower I have to take a second look. It seems to pop! I think that happens when I see such a change in eye zone from the norm.
Looks Like Christmas (Beck-B., 2020) Bx14-22 (seedling x unknown) 6",27", M, Sev,Tet, 13 buds, 4 branches
Very clean red with a green throat. Edged in gold and light green. Many years ago my son saw this one and said, "Dad that one looks like Christmas". The name stuck.
Lurid Dream (Beck-B., 2020) Bx13-6 (seedling Bx08-4 x unknown) 6",28", M, Sev, VF,Tet, 15 buds, 3 branches
Very clean white base with dark plum purple eye and edge. Cool different color. The edge color is very thick and has a metallic blue outer edge. This one is fragrant. I wish all daylilies had that most excellent fragrance. Why don't they? I have another seedling with a great smell. If you have ever smelled daylily "Hudson Valley" you know what I mean.
Lynx (Beck-B., 2021) bx15-33 (bx08-18 x unknown)
5.5", 22", EM, Sev, Tet, 27 buds, 6 way top branched
Dark burgundy with black eye and edge. Mixed teeth of black burgundy and cream on petal edge. Cream teeth on sepals. Half sibling to Burley Bobcat, but the color is so much different. The flowers opens great even with the top branching. Used the pollen on a lot of crosses. I have seeds from this one and Tumbleweed. The future is looking great.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx17-34 (Hip Hop Music x Falconer)
5.5", 24", ML, Sev, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching, Re
Cream base color, green throat with three maroon shades coming out finally forming very dark eye zone, dark maroon petal edge with lots of cream teeth.
A very striking flower when you come upon it. Re blooms here and adds to the season. Named for a wonderful grandson.
Magenta Wonder (Beck-B. 2018) Bx07-21 (Tranquil Waters x unknown) 33",Mid Late season,6",Nocturnal,Sev,Tet, 16 buds
Magenta with a ruffled gold chartreuse edge. It is polymerous about 20 percent of the time. Most of the time it is half open early evening the day before it is to bloom. Making it completely open by daybreak. A power opener! Massive substance like plastic. I have been growing this one for 11 years and still take pictures of it. It's flowering habits are much different then a regular hem. It's pretty cool!
Magnetic Flux (Beck-B., 2021) bx14-32 (bx08-4 x unknown)
5.5", 23", M, Sev, Tet, 18 buds, 3 branches
Wine purple base with violet eye zone. Petals edged in violet and white beads knobs and teeth. Purple is my favorite color and this one has great shades of purple. On my way to a blue eye and lots of teeth this one bloomed! I crossed it with Tumbleweed, my Burley Bobcat and Lynx. Stay tuned.
Magnetism (Beck-B.) Bx14-3 (seedlingBx08-1 x unknown) SE, 6", 23", M, R, Tet15 buds
Light mauve base with different shades of purple, burgundy, and violet eye zone. The same purple violet in the edge and white teeth around the edge.
One of my favorite flowers to bloom here. Including the ones I buy. I still go crazy over others at times but come back to this one. Visitors come around and want this one. I love lots of color and my favorite is purple. Lots of shading of purple in this one with a green throat that tends to bleed into the eye zone color. Very cool flower!
Red towards dark burgundy with a great gold edge. Bright green throat with a light watermark. This is my favorite red! (who knows what tomorrow will bring) I can't remember a flaw in this cultivar. I'm sure im just prejudice, so let me know. Very interesting because Happy Happy and Merlot really don't do that well for me.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx16-24 (Gigantic Flash x Last Snowflake)
8", 31", Sev, Tet, 14 buds, 2-3 way branching
Ruffled pink with a green pleated throat
Out of two of my all time favorite daylilies comes Major Flash! I have never been able to get Last Snowflake to set a pod, but I can get the pollen to work. Although it's not easy. But worth it to get such a excellent flower. This is a huge flat flower and when I am anywhere close to it, it flashes come see me. And I obey.
(Beck-B.,-2024) bx17-5 (Hip Hop Music x Professor Eyes-n-Biter)
5.5-6", 33", ML, sev, Tet, 23 buds, 4 way
White cream with burgundy eye and triple edge of dark burgundy, light burgundy, and yellow gold teeth and knobs
I remember that first picture of 'Born To Be Wild' that I ever saw. It was the most killer flowered daylily ever! It was the beginning of the multiple colored edges. Hats off to Guy period! That being said, 'Modern Music' has a much better plant and flower here in Idaho. The plant and flower are wonderful.
(Beck-B.,- 2023) Bx17-4 (Deadliest Catch x Hip Hop Music)
6", 36", ML, Sev-Dor., Tet, Re, 32 buds, 5 way branching
Lavender pink base with burgundy eye and edge, outside edge is surrounded by giant gold teeth and waves, green throat, this flower is a bi tone with sepals of light lavender cream, white mid ribs
It was a early cool morning and I was checking the seedlings when I saw Monster Man bloom for the first time. I had never seen a hem like it before. It was open and had substance so thick! I looked at it multiple times. Then I had to go to work. I came home for lunch at noon. I went right over to it and it had continued to open all morning and was wider and open more. Since then I have noted that if the mornings are warmer then it is fully open early. It makes giant scapes and great branching. When established it sends up immediate rebloom scapes. Good breeder with lots of pods and pollen is very fertile. I have an 2022 introduction that I named Infertile Myrtle. It has never made seeds for me. This year I decided to try Monster Man pollen and I got several pods. Can't wait to see these bloom. The only flaw that I can see is that Monster Man tends to have some spots on the petals here.
Morgan Clarice (Beck-B., 2022) bx14-34 ( bxo9-11 x Unknown)
5.5", 35", M, D, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching
Mauve with lavender blue eye etched in raspberry repeating in the petal edge with gold sparkled hooks on petal edge, wide green throat changing to almost white.
Named after one of my granddaughters. I used to have a seedling that I thought was the most elegant looking daylily in the garden. Then this one bloomed and I called it the elegant one. It was garden named The Elegant One until I found a better name. Very nice.
Mountain Cat (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-1 (Substance of Fire x Veto)
6", 32", Sev, M, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching
Dark burgundy with white midribs, ruffled white petal edge with white teeth, slight patterned eye zone above a green throat.
When this one first bloomed I thought all of my goals for teeth have been reached. Eye shocking! Of course now I want more size and longer teeth. I have seen a tooth here and there at 1". It needs to have more buds to be a $200.00 or more flower.
Quite fertile and makes great white edges on reds and purples.
Moving in Stereo (Beck-B., 2020) Bx12-19 (Full of Magic x unknown) 5.5",28",EM, Sev,Tet, 15 buds, 4 branches
Very clean white base (sight pink tone). Bright purple mulberry eye and edge. Green throat. Like a lot of others but I use this one instead of them. I want a pure white base for these picotee flowers. This one comes real close. The dark colors make this one look like it's pure white.
Must Be 60 (Beck-B., 2020) Bx10-3 (Bass Gibson x Bold Paint) 5.5",27",ML, D,Tet, 15 buds, 2 branches
Red with a gold rough jagged edge. Very green heart. From the first time it bloomed it was a go to for teeth. Very dramatic. I would look forward to seeing it bloom each morning. Then we had a 50* night and it did not open, only about 3/4 open. It opens nice when night temps are at least 60*. Hence the name "Must Be 60". Opens in the greenhouse very nicely.
Myla Laura (Beck-B., 2022) bx11-15 (Awesome Sauce x Unknown)
5.5", 31", ML, Sev, Tet, 20 buds, 3-4 way branching
Cream white with a raspberry purple pattern appliqué eye zone and edge, cream and green throat.
Named after a granddaughter. This one reminds me of fairies and unicorns. Love the creamy green that comes out of the throat to meet up with the rich raspberry eye zone.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx17-39 (Stenciled Infusion x Magnetism)
6", 30", ML, Sev, Tet, 24 buds, 4 way branching
Cream beige base color, from the green throat comes gray green, to violet, to raspberry eye zone and matching edge color
When Neon Electric and its siblings bloomed, I thought of neon colors. The Neon stuck and I have two of the Neon's to present to you this year. Very good plant and makes good scapes.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx17-7 (Stenciled Infusion x Magnetism)
6", 40", M, Sev, Tet, 22 buds, 4-5 way branching
Cream base with gray violet, blue violet, and raspberry eye, and edge
This is the best one of my Neon siblings. The color is so rich and vibrant! Like neon at night. The flower opens wonderfully every day. If you like tall scapes, then this is a good choice. I used Yoga Man on it this year and have lots of seeds from that cross.
Ninja Star (Beck-B 2021) bx14-31 (bx08-4 x unknown)
5.5"-6", 36", M, Sev.,Tet, 27 buds, 7 branches
Pink beige base, purple eyezone with a star patten, petal edged in purple and gold
Very unique look! Starting from the green throat base, then chartreuse, white midribs splitting the eyezone turning to purple outside the eyezone. Purple eyezone with some raspberry mascara. Purple and raspberry petal edge and gold. Blooms are the same every day. Very reliable and great grower.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx18-32 (Marina Del Ray x Magnetism
6", 26", M, Sev, Tet, 13 buds, 3 way branching
Cream base with a green throat, the green throat bleeds out into the multi shaded eye of neon purples, matching edge, outside edge is glittered white cream knobs and hooks
When I first saw this one bloom I was blown away with the multi shades of color! I knew that It was a keeper right then. Since then I have really wanted to share it with others.
Oh Erica (Beck-B.) Bx09-1 (PreciousCandy x unknown) 6", 32", M, Se, Tet, 25 buds
White with green throat and a bluish lavender eye zone and matching edge. Grows like a weed and opens perfect almost every time. Very hardy has grown here since 2009.
Olivia Lee (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-32 (Beyond Pluto x Veto)
6", 35", M, Sev, Tet, 30 buds, 5 way branching
Burnt mauve with lavender eye etched in raspberry, triple edged petals of raspberry, lavender, and gold knobs and teeth.
Named after one of my granddaughters. Very unique look and style. Wonderful plant habits. When it first bloomed I remember thinking that daylilies have an unlimited look. I marked it right away and have looked forward to it's bloom each season.
Orchid Applique (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-15 (Caspers Revenge x bx09-32)
5.5"-6", 37", EM, Sev, Tet, Re, 23 buds, 4 way branching
Orchid with a darker patterned eye and edge, light green appliqué throat. Green in the throat ends with white mid ribs at the eye zone. One of those double take flowers. It is very unique! Re blooms very well here. Fertile and sets many pods.
(Beck-B.,-2024) bx18-14 (seedling x Leah Beck)
6", 34", M, Sev, Tet, 13 buds, 3 way
Rich periwinkle with lighter watermark eye and petal edge, outer petals edged in ruffles of gold, green throat
This is such a unique color for me. I have a hard time describing it. You will have to look at the pictures. The flower is perfection in form and shape. A very favorite of mine. Just a couple to sell.
Pink Pancake (Beck-B.) Bx07-2 (Leslie Renee x unknown) 34", M, 6", Se, 18 buds,Tet
Pink self green throat. This one is like plastic. I have yet to see another hem with petals so stiff. I wanted to name it Plastica but they would not let me. It opens so flat with no problem, even in our 50* mornings. I have always had a problem with hems opening up due to the cool mornings. The petals can re curve some.
Plum Crown (Beck-B., 2020) Bx12-32 (seedling Bx05-9 x unknown) 6",33", M, Sev,Tet, 15 buds, 3 branches
Light cream base with light almost pastel plum eye and edge. Outside edge has a few hooks and bubbles. Great consistent opener with excellent round form. When you look at it, it seems to have hazy purple glow. Sometimes it doubles.
Quinley Lou (Beck-B., 2022) bx16-23 (bx08-18 x I'm A Big Timer)
5", 28", ML, Tet, Re, 15 buds, 3 way branching
Mauve with very dark purple eye and edge, small green throat.
Named after one of my granddaughters. Rich clean color is what this one is all about. Seems like even the base color is a rich creamy light purple color. Then the eye and edge are such a saturated almost black. A much admired daylily when people see it. Fertile but not easy as a pod parent.
(Beck-B.,-2024) bx16-26b (Thistles and Thorns x Mayans' Dawn
6.5", 36", ML, Sev, Tet, 23 buds, 4 way
Rich Burgundy with rose watermark, petals edged in rose and light yellow
This one just screams out with color. It just seems to glow in red. The lighter watermark eye seems to help the glow effect. Dark veins throughout the petals, is an added touch. Plant and scape are wonderful also.
(Beck-B.,-2024) bx16-27 (Scarlet Angel x Luck O' The Irish)
7", 3", ML, Sev, Tet, 18 buds, 3-4 way
Dark burgundy with a faint lighter watermark, small green throat and petals edged in gold
In your face, here comes the Red Rocker. If you looked at the parents for this one you will probably guess what I was going for. If you have grown Scarlet Angel you know how gorgeous it is. And Luck O' The Irish had the most green edge that I knew of when it was released. I wanted a green edged red. Instead I was lucky to get this intense red with a gold edge. With it's tiny green throat, Red Rocker is a mass of Red.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx15-22 (Bx08-4 x Dr. Stump)
6", 36", M, Sev, Tet, 16 buds, 3 way branching
Pink base with a very faint darker eye zone, teeth upon golden teeth on the petal edge, greenish yellow throat.
This flower has loads of teeth! Very good vigorous plant and makes excellent seedlings when crossed with toothy cultivars.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx18-25 (Crimson Cowboy x Must Be 60)
6.5", 30", ML, Ev, Tet, 18 buds, 3 way branching
Brilliant rose base with small lighter rose watermark eye and edge, edged in white and gold, lots of ruffles, small green throat
This is my favorite full formed bright rose colored daylily. I also love the big wide form. When I first started to grow daylilies in 1990 I wanted them all to have this round wide petals and sepals look. Since then I do like some of the other forms, but I always come back to the big round form. This one is named after a very full of life granddaughter of mine.
(Beck-B., 2025) Bx20-50 (Four Beasts In One x Waves Of Joy)
6", 29", M, Sev., Tet, 18 buds, 4 way
Pink faun base with a patterned eye of shades of blue, violet, purple and raspberry, green throat
The band Rush is one of my favorites. The band has some of the best percussion with a sound that seems to radiate. This daylily reminds me of this unique sound with the eye zone radiating out great waves of color. Always has a pattern but not always the same. Some days less ripples. One of the biggest best plants to support that great scape.
(Beck-B., 2025) Bx20-7 (Bx09-9 x Leah Beck)
6"-6.5", 27", M, Sev, Tet, 16 buds, 4 way branching
Very dark burgundy with light burgundy water mark eye, green throat, light burgundy and gold petal edge
This is the one! When I first started to work with daylilies my goal was large flowers with rich colors in purple. That was in the early 1990's. I have reached some goals along the way, but this is what I dreamed of. The first time it bloomed I wanted to show everyone I could find. I had never seen such rich color in a daylily with thick substance. I saw my closest neighbor walking down the road (she lives a 1/2 mile away). I could hardly wait to drag her to the spot where it was blooming. I'm sure she thought I was a nut job. I have used it quite a bit as a parent and have got some very nice rich colored kids. I have included just a couple pics of Saturation Overload's kids. Very good plant habit is a bonus.
(Beck-B.,-2024) bx18-4142 (unknown)
5.5"- 6", 31", ML, D, Tet, 26 buds, 4-6 way
Red with gold teeth and knobs, green throat
Let's get the bad out of the way, it does tend to fade from that rich red color as the bloom season progresses. Some may hate that, some may like it. Color changer. Lol I have had blooms that are very light red with a red eye zone. It does have an amazing scape and bud count. Multiple blooms on a scape!
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx12-26 (Bx09-3 x Unknown)
7.5", 35", EM, E, Tet, 23 buds, 4-6 way branching
Big yellow base with dark marron purple eye and edge
For many years this is the one that many visitors to my place say is their favorite of all the daylilies open that day. It is a very big flower and a very good plant all around. I should have introduced it years ago, but because of so much to do growing crops I just never had the time. Now I have the time! I have quite a bit of this plant so I reduced the price.
