Anti-Dentite (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-25 (Iwana Pirana x Thistles and Thorns)
6.25", 25", M, Sev, Tet, Re, 30-42 buds, 5-6 way branching
Red self with yellow gold teeth, yellow green throat. Don't call the Dentist because I am Anti-Dentite. Beautiful red self with many golden teeth surrounding the petal edge. With all those buds it can have a opening problem at times. I have used it a lot for pollen and pods.
Cole Beck (Beck-B., 2022) bx16-13 (Spinefeld x I'm A Big Timer)
6", 30", M, Sev, Tet, 30 buds, 4-5 way
White base with a dark purple eye, double edge of dark purple and white teeth, green throat with light purple streaks coming out. Wonderful clear colors. The contrast of white to dark purple is awesome. Then you see the edge with teeth. Great plant and fertile both ways. Named after my youngest son.
Devon Beck (Beck-B., 2022) bx11-13 (Awesome Sauce x Unknown)
6", 37", M, Sev, 17 buds, 3-4 way branching
Tan cream with dark purple appliqué eye and edge, small green throat base with yellow green cream extending out.
Named after one of my grandsons. So much grab your attention style in this one! Walking through all the hems new and old I still am amazed when I spot this flower.
Easter Rainbow (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-3 (Sherry Candy x Blue-Breasted Bee-Eater)
6", 26", M, Sev, Tet, 17 buds, 4 way branching
Mauve with a lavender raspberry etched eye and edge, green throat.
Easter Rainbow has quite a few different looks. I remember when Blue Breasted Bee Eater first bloomed here I said to myself this will be the one that I get a blue out of. I have seen other hems out of Sherry Candy that looked blue. So I put them together and well, Blue? Sometimes it has the most blue eye zone I have seen (although rare). But for the most part it is a beautiful lavender pastel rainbow of color. I will try to get pictures of some of the different looks on the site. Makes lots of proliferations.
Green Fling (Beck-B., 2022) Bx15-4 (Sherry Candy x Blue-Breasted Bee-Eater)
6", 29", EM, Sev, Tet, 15 buds, 4-5 way branching
Mauve base color with a multi shaded eye of purple, raspberry and mauve, petals edged in the eye colors and green gold, big green throat, a green cast on the entire flower.
When you first see Green Fling from a distance it looks like a green flower with other colors mixed in. Nice wide green throat and green gold petal edge. Good opener and great substance.
Idaho Butterfly (Beck-B., 2022) bx17-18 (Dragonfly Dawn x Dynamic Delight)
6", 30", EM, Sev, Tet, 16 buds, 3 way branching
Yellow with a butterfly eye of mauve and raspberry purple etching, yellow green throat. I grew probably 30 of this cross and Idaho Butterfly was the only one that looked like this. It's amazying how the same cross can have ones that look similar and then one that is so different.
Infertile Myrtle (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-14 (Spinefeld x Unknown)
6.5", 23, EM, Sev, Tet, 33 buds, 5 way branching
Peachy pink base with a big yellow throat, petals edged in masses of teeth.
This flower has more teeth than any I have seen. The bad news is it is completely infertile. It would be the premier toothy flower if it was fertile. Can hang up here.
Jenna Mckell (Beck-B., 2022) bx11-25 (Spacecoast Sea Shells x Unknown)
6", 36",M, Sev, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching
White cream with a red raspberry appliqué eye and edge, green to white cream coming out from throat center.
Named after one of my granddaughters. With eyes as big as life here comes Jenna Mckell. A daylily with an eye zone you can't forget. Firtile and has made a seedling with the most big saturated red eye I have seen.
Lacey Jane (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-47 (Precious Candy x Unknown)
6.25", 31", M, Sev, Tet, Re, 22 buds, 4-5 way branching
Dark mauve base with purple lavender eye and edge, outer petals edged in white to gold, green throat bursting out green to yellow into the eye zone. Named after one of my granddaughters. A show in the garden? Let Lacey Jane be a part of the act. Precious Candy has been a wonderful parent for me and just keeps putting out greatness. Reblooms here.
Laser Face
Laser Face (Beck-B., 2022) bx17-20 (bx08-18 x Professor Eyes-N-Biter)
6", 30", Sev, Tet, ML, Tet, 18 buds, 3-4 way
Tan mauve base with a patterned eye zone of purple and raspberry, green yellow throat, raspberry purple edge.
This is probably the most unique daylily that I have grown. I was actually going for eye and edge with teeth. (you can see bxo8-18 in the gallery section on this web site) I texted a picture of this one to a friend and she said. "looks like the whole face of the flower is done by a laser." That's how it got it's name. The base color can be tan or lavender or a combination of both. This year (2021) it was more tan but the outside edge was way wider. Fertile both ways and I used it a lot.
Leon Lewis (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-40 ( Velvet Throne x Thistles and Thorns)
6.25", 36", M, Sev, Tet, Re, 35 buds, 5-6 way branching
Ruffled purple with a light water mark eye, green throat. Just another purple? If I thought that I would not keep it. It is a workhorse purple. If you have seen Velvet Throne you know about velvet purple in daylilies. This one has that velvet color but improves on the plant with wonderful scapes, many buds, and great branching. It even has the power to re bloom here. Named for a good friend of mine in Wendell Idaho. A retired Fish and Game agent that loves Daylilies!
Morgan Clarice (Beck-B., 2022) bx14-34 ( bxo9-11 x Unknown)
5.5", 35", M, D, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching
Mauve with lavender blue eye etched in raspberry repeating in the petal edge with gold sparkled hooks on petal edge, wide green throat changing to almost white.
Named after one of my granddaughters. I used to have a seedling that I thought was the most elegant looking daylily in the garden. Then this one bloomed and I called it the elegant one. It was garden named The Elegant One until I found a better name. Very nice.
Mountain Cat (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-1 (Substance of Fire x Veto)
6", 32", Sev, M, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching
Dark burgundy with white midribs, ruffled white petal edge with white teeth, slight patterned eye zone above a green throat.
When this one first bloomed I thought all of my goals for teeth have been reached. Eye shocking! Of course now I want more size and longer teeth. I have seen a tooth here and there at 1". It needs to have more buds to be a $200.00 or more flower.
Quite fertile and makes great white edges on reds and purples.
Myla Laura (Beck-B., 2022) bx11-15 (Awesome Sauce x Unknown)
5.5", 31", ML, Sev, Tet, 20 buds, 3-4 way branching
Cream white with a raspberry purple pattern appliqué eye zone and edge, cream and green throat.
Named after a granddaughter. This one reminds me of fairies and unicorns. Love the creamy green that comes out of the throat to meet up with the rich raspberry eye zone.
Olivia Lee (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-32 (Beyond Pluto x Veto)
6", 35", M, Sev, Tet, 30 buds, 5 way branching
Burnt mauve with lavender eye etched in raspberry, triple edged petals of raspberry, lavender, and gold knobs and teeth.
Named after one of my granddaughters. Very unique look and style. Wonderful plant habits. When it first bloomed I remember thinking that daylilies have an unlimited look. I marked it right away and have looked forward to it's bloom each season.
Orchid Applique (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-15 (Caspers Revenge x bx09-32)
5.5"-6", 37", EM, Sev, Tet, Re, 23 buds, 4 way branching
Orchid with a darker patterned eye and edge, light green appliqué throat. Green in the throat ends with white mid ribs at the eye zone. One of those double take flowers. It is very unique! Re blooms very well here. Fertile and sets many pods.
Quinley Lou (Beck-B., 2022) bx16-23 (bx08-18 x I'm A Big Timer)
5", 28", ML, Tet, Re, 15 buds, 3 way branching
Mauve with very dark purple eye and edge, small green throat.
Named after one of my granddaughters. Rich clean color is what this one is all about. Seems like even the base color is a rich creamy light purple color. Then the eye and edge are such a saturated almost black. A much admired daylily when people see it. Fertile but not easy as a pod parent.
Slade Beck (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-19 (Blue-Breasted Bee-Eater x Born To Be Wild)
6.25", 28", M, Sev, Tet, 20 Buds, 3 way branching
Pink base with fusha lavender raspberry shaded eye, same colored edge, outside edge of gold, bright green throat. This is a beautiful flower! Especially if you like pastel colors with bright darks mixed in. The edge can be huge at 3/4" to 1" wide. Yes it is fertile. Named for my oldest son.
Solar Beam (Beck-B., 2022) Bx16-27 (Budd's Jane x Last Snowflake)
7", 26", M, Sev, Tet, 25 buds, 4 branches
Yellow self with a green sheen across the face of the flower. I really like Last Snowflake and wanted to get a larger version. Last Snowflake is very hard to set pods. In fact I don't think I was ever able to set a pod on it. I was able to use the pollen and got this awesome yellow. Solar Beam is a very large flower that says hello with a great green look from a distance.
Substance of Thorns (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-10 (Substance of Fire x Thistles and Thorns)
6", 32", M, Sev, Tet, Re, 15 buds, 3 way branching
Red with lighter water mark, white teeth on petal edge, green throat. This one is always trying to bloom. I have some of it in the greenhouse and it re blooms every time. Does a good job of re blooming outside also. I am always excited to see it bloom. I have used it as a parent pod and pollen quiet a bit.
The Fuzz (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-36 (Dr. Celia Stump x Spinefeld)
5", 29", E, Sev, 20 buds, 3-4 way branching
Light yellow with a light red eye and edge, green throat and loaded with teeth and fringed edge.
For a long time I thought this was a full sibling to Burley Bobcat because they look so much alike. Just half siblings. The Fuzz has so much fringe and so many teeth that it can look fuzzy. Fertile both ways.
Thea Jane (Beck-B., 2022) bx17-28 (Dragonfly Dawn x Four Beasts in One)
6", 35", M, Sev, Tet, 18 buds, 3-4 way wide branches
Pink base with eye zone of multiple colors of lavender, blue, charcoal, fusha, and raspberry, wide green throat.
Named after one of my granddaughters. When Thea Jane first bloomed it was just a plant away from Cool Beans (still one of my favorite patterned eyes). They were both blooming at the same time and the scene was awesome. I will try to get that original picture on the site. Very wide branches and sets seeds well.
