2026 Introductions

So happy to be able to offer this one. It is much like Tumbleweed only As Far As Siam is .5"-1" larger, and has a more toothy edge. These comments are as observed at my location. It was always a stand out among all of the other seedlings blooming around it.

Purple with white and purple patterned eye, green throat
This is at least a $200 dayliliy but it has faults. The scape is kind of week and I have to stake them up to make them straight. Most of the scapes are 2 way branched and 10 ish buds. It does rebloom reliably. I don't get a lot of rebloom here, so that is a plus.
It is a very big bloom and the pattern is there every time at my place. The pattern can change some, but I have never seen it without. It's one that I make an effort to go see first thing in the morning, because it is amazing big for a pattern.

I finally have a Burley Bobcat kid to offer to you. When Bobcat Wild first bloomed it was a very favorite for the day!

I have said it before "if you want vibrant colors use Radiant Red Eyes as a parent". Radiant Red Eyes is kind of tender here and has made some not so hardy kids. Color Hero is not one of those. It is very hardy and a good good grower for me. Did I mention it has outstanding color clarity?!

Cream with black eye and petal edge with knobs of gold and black, intense green throat
This one is so dramatically noticeable among others in the row! I am so impressed by the shock value of this one. I think I can see some light green in the cream color of the petals. It may be that the very intense green throat could not hold onto all that color and it spilled out to the petals. Enjoy.

I love to share first year seedlings with my friend Mark Breaux in New Orleans. One day I had sent him quite a few pics that I though were amazing. Then I sent a pic of this one and he immediately texted back with "this is the best one yet". He really likes applique's. I am drawn to applique throats also. From that day on every time I see this amazing bloom I think of his comment. I wish it had just a bit taller scape. The foliage is kind of tall and the flowers are just barley above it.

Nice big bloom with teeth. This was in a row of unknown parents and was a standout. I just love daylilies with the awesome petals edged with white or cream. This one even has some teeth on the sepals.

This one is out of this world for color. Just look at that giant red eye and edge. I can see a small darker red edge outside of the already dark red petals edge. I can only dream of large dark red edges with even a large darker red edge. It will happen one day.

This one created quite a stir when I showed it on Facebook. Lot's of people asking for it. Just not ready to sell it at the time. This is the closest to pure white and dark that I grow. I wanted to name it My Precious, but just did not work out. You will notice that it has some color on the sepal edge and some teeth. Very nice.

Butter yellow with light violet and thin dark raspberry eye, large green to yellow green throat
Full sibling to Rainbow Medley, only Real World took on yellow petals. As a first year seedlings growing together both showed perfection in plant and flower form. I love the sunshine yellow with thin raspberry eye zone.

Another Radiant Red Eyes kid. Radiant Red Eyes has made some of the most wonderful daylilies for me. Sometimes it's seedlings are not hardy and my winters usually take them out or makes them noticeably weak. Rose Monster is hardy! The eye almost covers the entire giant of a flower. Just a small amount of petal color on the very tips of the flower.

I was going for lots of teeth. I got some teeth with this one, but it's the wonderful color that makes it so good.

The first ever bloom on this one blew my mind! I wanted to show the whole daylily world. It was exactly what I was breeding for. The saturated burgundy color (I love purple in all it's shades), the size, the full form, the huge gold edge, buds, and branching. Then the next bloom hung up. I was very disappointed. Since then I have found that it naturally hangs up about 20% of the time. I want to be honest with you. A flaw for sure, but best in it's class flower most of the time. I have measured the gold edge at 1" wide.

Smelly! Why would you ever name a daylily that? Well, I completely love the fragrance this one gives off. I wonder why most daylilies have no fragrance. In fact I can only think of three that I grow that have significant fragrance. Smelly being the best fragrant one here. When it is in bloom I make an effort to get a whiff. I called it Smelly for years and the name stuck. The flower is a very nice modern pink. If fragrance is your thing, you must have this one.
I googled, what is the reaction to a good smell:

Rose pink with a burgundy eye, petals edged in gold and golden teeth, green throat
This is my favorite introduction this year! The colors are great and framed with an amazing golden edge. Going from the green throat outward it has lighter color to a darker finer line of burgundy. Instead of a rounded eye zone it seems to have a straight line from petal edge to petal edge. Even the pink rose petal color seems to glow more than usual.
Named for my newest grandchild Stanford Beck. Born in July of 2025.

This bloom was the highlight of my first year blooms for quite awhile. It is so full and round that it seems larger than when actually measured. That brilliant huge red eye screams out loud and in your face. About half of my plants of Sunsweet Giant re-bloomed this last year.

Coral with violet eye, green throat
Violets In Coral is a tower of power. I love the contrast of colors in these blooms. It's that green, to violet, to coral with contrasting colors. So easy to pick it out in a crowd. Many people visiting my place stop many feet away and say "oh look at that one". It is tall but also glowing.
