Significance

(Beck-B., 2026) bx20-20 (Magnitude x Leah Beck)
6"-6.5", 25", ML, D, Tet, 20 buds, 3-4 way branching
Dark burgundy with a small light burgundy eye, large white to green gold edge, green throat
The first ever bloom on this one blew my mind! I wanted to show the whole daylily world. It was exactly what I was breeding for. The saturated burgundy color (I love purple in all it's shades), the size, the full form, the huge gold edge, buds, and branching. Then the next bloom hung up. I was very disappointed. Since then I have found that it naturally hangs up about 20% of the time. I want to be honest with you. A flaw for sure, but best in it's class flower most of the time. I have measured the gold edge at 1" wide.
