Let's Go
(Beck-B.,-2023) Bx-18-2 (Unknown x Unknown)
5.5", 31", ML, Sev, Tet, 22 buds, 4 way
Red base color with gold teeth on petal edge, light green and yellow throat
My favorite red with teeth! The teeth on this one are not soft to the touch. Do you remember the feeling of the petals on a straw flower? That's what the teeth on this one feel like to me. Maybe not quite that stiff. Quick story. So the reason I don't know the parents of this one is because, when I get done sprouting seeds ready to transplant. I clean the trays out in the garbage. One day I was working in the greenhouse and saw little green leaves in the discarded soil. I did not know the crosses at that point. I decided to grow them out. Let's Go and It's All I Can Do are the result of growing those little garbage plants out. Yes, I am a grateful dumpster diver. Lol
Amanda Lee (Beck-B., 2021) bx15-29 (bx08-4 x Born to be Wild)
5", 28", ML, Sev, Tet, 23 buds, 7 branches
White cream base with dark purple eye zone and dark purple edge. Green throat. Base color is so nice and white looking. The edged is very thick. I can still remember when I first spotted this one and thinking this is a pure white daylily with a perfect eye and edge. Named after my oldest daughter.
Anti-Dentite (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-25 (Iwana Pirana x Thistles and Thorns)
6.25", 25", M, Sev, Tet, Re, 30-42 buds, 5-6 way branching
Red self with yellow gold teeth, yellow green throat. Don't call the Dentist because I am Anti-Dentite. Beautiful red self with many golden teeth surrounding the petal edge. With all those buds it can have a opening problem at times. I have used it a lot for pollen and pods.
Beastie Baby (Beck-B.) bx15-13 (Spinefeld X unknown) Ev, 3", 19",M, Tet, 12 buds, 2 branches
Dark pink with dark burgundy eyezone, large gold teeth surrounding the petal edges.
Very small flower with big teeth. Had to introduce it because it is so different.
Bite Your Lip
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx15-9 (Thistles and Thorns x Veto)
5.5" to 6", 24", M, Sev., Tet, 17 buds, 3 way branching
Dark purple burgundy base color with a purple watermark, white to yellow teeth on the petal edge, green throat.
Nice rich color and wonderful toothy edge. Sometimes it will grow teeth on the midribs. So if you are working on this trait, then this one may help your program.
BlueGhost (Beck-B., 2020)Bx09-30 (Precious Candy x unknown) 6",36",M,D,Tet,26 buds,5 branches
Mauve purple base with lavender blue shaded eye and edge. Dark purple etched eye zone. Precious Candy has been a favorite for me for many years. I think it as a parent makes all kinds of unique! Here we go again. Blue Ghost has a very cool ghostly eye. Very good planthabits.
Blue Pup (Beck-B., 2020) Bx11-23 (Bit of Blue x unknown) 30",E Mid season,5", ,D,Tet, 29 buds, 7 branches
Lavender with a blue eye that shades to purple going out. Dark veins and a green throat. No it is not real blue and it is not a real pup! Ha Ha Very good flower and plant. Fun one to wait to see each year.
Cream yellow base. Dark burgundy eye and edge with teeth on petal edge and sepal edge. Lots and lots of teeth! The picture is how it looks. It is top branched but the flowers don't crowd each other. The scape is real nice. I named this one after my home High School. The Burley Bobcats.
Bye Bye Love
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx18-1 (Must Be 60 x Vampire Academy)
6", 32", ML, Sev, Tet, 18 buds, 2-4 way branching
Very good red with gold teeth around the petals, green throat
This was the first cultivar selected in 2018. I was so excited to see this true red color with all the teeth. It is very sunfast here, keeping the nice color longer than other reds.
Carol Manning (Beck-B., 2021) bx14-29 (Precious Candy x unknown)
6", 31", Sev, Tet, 16 buds, 3 branches
Burgundy base with a dark burgundy eyezone, petal edged in dark burgundy and gold outer edge. I love how elegant the colors look. Very good strong plant. Named for my Mother in law.
Cole Beck (Beck-B., 2022) bx16-13 (Spinefeld x I'm A Big Timer)
6", 30", M, Sev, Tet, 30 buds, 4-5 way
White base with a dark purple eye, double edge of dark purple and white teeth, green throat with light purple streaks coming out. Wonderful clear colors. The contrast of white to dark purple is awesome. Then you see the edge with teeth. Great plant and fertile both ways. Named after my youngest son.
Cool Beans (Beck-B., 2021) bx17-1 (Dragonfly Dawn x Four Beasts In One)
5.5", 24", EM, Sev, Tet, 17 buds, 5 branches
Yellow base with eye zone of multiple shades of purple and blue tones. Wide green throat. Wow! What a cool colored pattern. I love this flower and have never seen one like it. My most used pollen parent by far for patterned daylilies. It also sets seed. I should get some seedlings bloom from it this year. It does not always have the same pattern, but always has a pattern. I can count at least 5 (or more) shades of color in the eye. One of those colors is Blue! It can loose the color inside the breaks.
Light pinkish with a tinge of light orange base color. Tangerine eye with a light raspberry mascara around the eye zone. The edge mimics the eye color. Dollop of green at the base of the throat. Very unique flower color for me, but I really like it . When I first saw it, it reminded me of the creamsicle or dreamsicle ice cream bars I used to eat as a kid. Yummy!
Crematoria (Beck-B., 2021) bx14-20 (Precious Candy x unknown)
5.5", 30", M, Sev, Tet, 19 buds, 4 branches
Very dark purple with white teeth surrounding the petal edges. Almost black. Think of a very dark landscape the sun not quite up and white sun rays shooting up from the horizon. Very good plant habbits.
(Beck-B,. 2023) Bx10-1 (Pink Aloha x Fringy)
5.5"-6", 30", ML, Sev, Tet, Re, 30 buds, 4-5 way branching
Pink with ruffles and angel wings, green throat, sculping
I was reluctant to register this one because of so many pinks. Every year I say," this is just so good"! Substance is outstanding with sculping to add to the wonderful full form. The edge and ruffles have jigs and jags, teeth, and angel wings. Named for a granddaughter with a smile that brightens the day.
Deep Lake (Beck-B. 2018) bx05-59 (Lake Effect x unknown) 26",7.5",Se,Tet, 12 buds
Bright burgundy purple with a bluish eye and edge, yellow white around the petal edge. I'm not sure what the color of this flower is. It's hard to describe. Very big flower. Very different.
Deseret (Beck-B. 2018) Bx14-1 (seedling Bx08-4 x unknown) 7",EM,29", Sev, Tet, 14 buds, re bloom
Pink Mauve base, violet eye with different shades. Eye is etched with purple raspberry. Edge has the same color as the eye. Outer edge is very light lavender giving it a almost white look. Half of the fans re bloom. One of the best re blooming daylilies here. I very rarely see much re bloom so that is a big deal for me. Some doubling on re bloom for a little extra effect.
Devon Beck (Beck-B., 2022) bx11-13 (Awesome Sauce x Unknown)
6", 37", M, Sev, 17 buds, 3-4 way branching
Tan cream with dark purple appliqué eye and edge, small green throat base with yellow green cream extending out.
Named after one of my grandsons. So much grab your attention style in this one! Walking through all the hems new and old I still am amazed when I spot this flower.
Easter Rainbow (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-3 (Sherry Candy x Blue-Breasted Bee-Eater)
6", 26", M, Sev, Tet, 17 buds, 4 way branching
Mauve with a lavender raspberry etched eye and edge, green throat.
Easter Rainbow has quite a few different looks. I remember when Blue Breasted Bee Eater first bloomed here I said to myself this will be the one that I get a blue out of. I have seen other hems out of Sherry Candy that looked blue. So I put them together and well, Blue? Sometimes it has the most blue eye zone I have seen (although rare). But for the most part it is a beautiful lavender pastel rainbow of color. I will try to get pictures of some of the different looks on the site. Makes lots of proliferations.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx18-22 (Bx09-10 x Leah Beck)
7", 35", ML, Sev, Tet, 16buds, 3-4 way branching
Dark burgundy base with a small light violet watermark eye and edge, edged in light green gold, green throat
My first introduction from Leah Beck breeding. I still remember when it first bloomed. Some of the siblings had bloomed before it and they were very nice. I was watching them close, and Electric Angel bloomed and was a standout. I could not keep away form it and took many pictures.
Electro Ball (Beck-B., 2021) bx15-28 (bx08-4 x Born To Be Wild)
5", 28", ML, Sev, Tet, 23 buds, 6 branches
Cream tan base with plum purple eye. Edged in ruffled plum purple and light violet. Full sibling to Amanda Lee. Just does not have the almost white base color as Amanda Lee, but has a light violet electric ozone color outside of the ruffled dark purple petal edge.
Falconer (Beck B.) Bx14-2 (Special Candy x unknown) SE, 30", EM, R, Tet18 buds
Very dark muted mauve with a very dark eye zone, picotee edge color mimics the eye zone with white teeth all around the edge. This was one of the ones that make it all worth breeding. The white teeth are such a contrast to the rest of the flower. Fertile both ways.
Very pink self with a green throat. This is my big one! I wanted to name it Gigantor but Guy Pierce beat me to it. Snooze you Lose! I like daylilies that are big, so when this one first bloomed I was amazed. It bloomed for the first time in 2007 and has been amazing each year. Opens up great in cold night conditions. Substance is very good and opens quite flat.
Green Fling (Beck-B., 2022) Bx15-4 (Sherry Candy x Blue-Breasted Bee-Eater)
6", 29", EM, Sev, Tet, 15 buds, 4-5 way branching
Mauve base color with a multi shaded eye of purple, raspberry and mauve, petals edged in the eye colors and green gold, big green throat, a green cast on the entire flower.
When you first see Green Fling from a distance it looks like a green flower with other colors mixed in. Nice wide green throat and green gold petal edge. Good opener and great substance.
Helion Prime (Beck-B., 2021) bx14-24 (Thistles and Thornes x unknown)
7", 33", EM, Sev, Tet, 25 buds, 6 branches
Boysenberry purple. Lighter watermark. White teeth around the petal edge and quite a few teeth on the sepals. This is a very big flower with lots of action on the petal edge. It does loose some size in the flower later in the bloom season and gets a little lighter in color. Can be Polymerous as you can see in the picture, maybe 10% of the time.
Hidden Innuendos
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx18-21 (Dragonfly Dawn x Four Beasts in One)
7.25", 28", EM, E, Tet, 18 buds, 3-4 way branching
Pink base with red, pink, purple, gray patterned eye, green throat
This is a big flower and makes big kids. I know it has canoeing, but it does show the pattern. I would like it to be flat. Blooms quite early here. It also makes lots of proliferations.
Maroon mauve base with dark purple eye and edge. Petals are surrounded by white teeth. Bigger than most of my Precious Candy kids. Scapes get the flower up and out to show off the flowers.
Idaho Butterfly (Beck-B., 2022) bx17-18 (Dragonfly Dawn x Dynamic Delight)
6", 30", EM, Sev, Tet, 16 buds, 3 way branching
Yellow with a butterfly eye of mauve and raspberry purple etching, yellow green throat. I grew probably 30 of this cross and Idaho Butterfly was the only one that looked like this. It's amazying how the same cross can have ones that look similar and then one that is so different.
Idaho Star Garnet (Beck-B. 2018) Bx03-5 (unknown) 30",6",M,Se,Tet, 18 buds
Cream white pink with multiple shades of lavender purple eye zone, matching small picotee edge. Has lighter midribs in the eye to make a star like pattern. Named after Idaho's state gem.
Infertile Myrtle (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-14 (Spinefeld x Unknown)
6.5", 23, EM, Sev, Tet, 33 buds, 5 way branching
Peachy pink base with a big yellow throat, petals edged in masses of teeth.
This flower has more teeth than any I have seen. The bad news is it is completely infertile. It would be the premier toothy flower if it was fertile. Can hang up here.
It's All I Can Do
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx18-6 (unknown x unknown)
5.5", 29", ML, Sev,Tet, Re, 17buds, 3 way branching,
Solid dark red with white teeth on edge of petals and sepals, green throat
This is a oh wow daylily! The contrast of the red and white teeth are excellent. Slow increaser and I only have a few for sale.
It re blooms here on established plants. Re bloom flowers have more teeth, but the teeth are more golden.
Jenna Mckell (Beck-B., 2022) bx11-25 (Spacecoast Sea Shells x Unknown)
6", 36",M, Sev, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching
White cream with a red raspberry appliqué eye and edge, green to white cream coming out from throat center.
Named after one of my granddaughters. With eyes as big as life here comes Jenna Mckell. A daylily with an eye zone you can't forget. Firtile and has made a seedling with the most big saturated red eye I have seen.
Jenny Jen (Beck-B 2021) bx12-5 (Cimarron Rose x Bold Paint)
6", 26", M, Sev, Tet, 22 buds, 4 way branched
Red burgundy red with lighter edge. Green throat. Named for my daughter Jenny. She comes out and sees all of my flowers each year and this is the one she goes to. Very excellent red color and good grower. Will melt in the sun so best to grow in afternoon shade.
Just What I Needed
(Beck-B., 2023) 15-29 (Sherry Candy x Blue Breasted Bee Eater)
6", 26", M, Sev, Tet, 15 buds, 3 way branching
Coppery cream base color with a big eye and edge of violet and purple tones, nice big ruffles and small outside edge of metallic glitter, green throat
On maiden bloom I knew this was a keeper. The eye and the very wide edge color is very noticeable from a distance. Makes it looks even bigger than it is. One time it bloomed with a patterned eye. Don't expect the pattern but may help get pattern eyes with giant edges when using it.
Kristy Jane (Beck-b., 2021) bx12-36 (bx08-4 x unknown)
5.25", 35", M, Sev, Tet, 18 buds, 3-4 way branching
Very clean white base with three shades of violet blue eye zone with a raspberry mascara. Edged in the eye colors. Named after my middle child Kristy. This is the best white base for a blueish eye that I have. Not always the light blue that you you see in the first picture. Sometimes more navy blue as in the second pic.
Lacey Jane (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-47 (Precious Candy x Unknown)
6.25", 31", M, Sev, Tet, Re, 22 buds, 4-5 way branching
Dark mauve base with purple lavender eye and edge, outer petals edged in white to gold, green throat bursting out green to yellow into the eye zone. Named after one of my granddaughters. A show in the garden? Let Lacey Jane be a part of the act. Precious Candy has been a wonderful parent for me and just keeps putting out greatness. Reblooms here.
Laser Face
Laser Face (Beck-B., 2022) bx17-20 (bx08-18 x Professor Eyes-N-Biter)
6", 30", Sev, Tet, ML, Tet, 18 buds, 3-4 way
Tan mauve base with a patterned eye zone of purple and raspberry, green yellow throat, raspberry purple edge.
This is probably the most unique daylily that I have grown. I was actually going for eye and edge with teeth. (you can see bxo8-18 in the gallery section on this web site) I texted a picture of this one to a friend and she said. "looks like the whole face of the flower is done by a laser." That's how it got it's name. The base color can be tan or lavender or a combination of both. This year (2021) it was more tan but the outside edge was way wider. Fertile both ways and I used it a lot.
Named after my Mom. This is one of the biggest full formed round purple Daylilies I have seen. It is A very strong grower. Has a slight lighter water mark in the eye area. Has a nice white edge around the petals. Very nice green throat. Just one of the best I have grown! Now for the bad. It does hang up here 20% of the time. If it were not for this flaw I would be selling it for much more. I seldom have warm nights even when it's 90 + degrees during the day. Usually in the 50's at night. So it may open much better with warm nights. Would love to know if it does better with warm nights.
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx15-31 (Thistles and Thorns x Veto)
7", 28", M, Sev, Tet, 11 buds, 3 way branching
Purple base with a brighter lighter purple eye, edged in eye zone color and gold teeth, green throat
What a fantastic flower. The flower is just too good not to share. Although not really enough buds to make it a real winner. I contemplated whether or not to put it out, because of the low bud count. With that in mind, I decided to sell it for less and let you decide if it was good enough.
Leon Lewis (Beck-B., 2022) bx15-40 ( Velvet Throne x Thistles and Thorns)
6.25", 36", M, Sev, Tet, Re, 35 buds, 5-6 way branching
Ruffled purple with a light water mark eye, green throat. Just another purple? If I thought that I would not keep it. It is a workhorse purple. If you have seen Velvet Throne you know about velvet purple in daylilies. This one has that velvet color but improves on the plant with wonderful scapes, many buds, and great branching. It even has the power to re bloom here. Named for a good friend of mine in Wendell Idaho. A retired Fish and Game agent that loves Daylilies!
(Beck-B., 2023) Bx15-8 (Thistles and Thorns x Veto)
6", 31", EM, Sev, Tet, 18 buds, 4 way branching
Deep purple base with white and gold teeth on petals, green throat
Another wonderful flower from this cross! I did not know what one to chose so I have quite a few named in 2023 from this cross. All have something a little different.
Limon Rasperry (Beck-B., 2020) Bx111-24 (Bella Isabella x unknown) 28",E Mid season,6", ,Sev,Tet, 14 buds, 4 branches
Lavender pink faun base color with purple raspberry applique eye. Yellow green throat hence the Limon. Every time I see this flower I have to take a second look. It seems to pop! I think that happens when I see such a change in eye zone from the norm.
Looks Like Christmas (Beck-B., 2020) Bx14-22 (seedling x unknown) 6",27", M, Sev,Tet, 13 buds, 4 branches
Very clean red with a green throat. Edged in gold and light green. Many years ago my son saw this one and said, "Dad that one looks like Christmas". The name stuck.
Lurid Dream (Beck-B., 2020) Bx13-6 (seedling Bx08-4 x unknown) 6",28", M, Sev, VF,Tet, 15 buds, 3 branches
Very clean white base with dark plum purple eye and edge. Cool different color. The edge color is very thick and has a metallic blue outer edge. This one is fragrant. I wish all daylilies had that most excellent fragrance. Why don't they? I have another seedling with a great smell. If you have ever smelled daylily "Hudson Valley" you know what I mean.
Lynx (Beck-B., 2021) bx15-33 (bx08-18 x unknown)
5.5", 22", EM, Sev, Tet, 27 buds, 6 way top branched
Dark burgundy with black eye and edge. Mixed teeth of black burgundy and cream on petal edge. Cream teeth on sepals. Half sibling to Burley Bobcat, but the color is so much different. The flowers opens great even with the top branching. Used the pollen on a lot of crosses. I have seeds from this one and Tumbleweed. The future is looking great.
